SACD is for audiophiles; most traditional audiophiles have speakers-- and PCDP's don't factor into that equation anyway. A PSACDP would have little or no demand. Most normal non-audiophiles couldn't care less about a good-sounding PCDP, let alone on that is both good sounding and has SACD capability.

Well, they already have portable DVD which includes DVD-A, so I predict some time within the next year (I.E. by September 2003) -- and that's being pessimistic.
i predict that once somebody comes out with a firmware of some kind that cracks the sacd so that it is readable/ripable in dvd-rom drives.. then it'll get super popular and sony will bitch about how much money they are losing.
