Hi,

I just bough a used Bravo Audio Ocean which is currently using a Sylvania 12AU7A. It is connected to a Behringer UMC202 and it powers a Sony MDR-7506.

I'm planning an upgrade for both interface and amp. Likely a Topping DAC and the Little Dot MKII.

The question is: I would like to keep the Bravo Ocean and maybe use it as preamp connected to Little Dot. I mean, DAC/Interface > Bravo Ocean (RCA out) > Little Dot MKII.

Would it work? Is there any benefit or would it be just unnecessary stuff on the signal path?

I’m sure it would work. But it seems like it would just be one more thing in the signal path. Not sure it would provide any benefit.
