Curious how these stack up against the Momentum True Wireless, which imho sound excellent.

As far as I can tell these look like Sennheiser took the Momentum TW II, removed the ANC, and tweaked the shape a bit. Then knocked $100 off the price. Same driver specs and same battery life, so in theory they might sound pretty similar.

For what it's worth, I don't miss ANC when I use the original Momentum TW... but I do wish for the superior battery life of the newer version.

They don't have ANC, which is why they're cheaper than the Momentum TW2.

so the sound is more or less the same ? the anc and "hear trough" was bad anyway compared to the apples , but the sound was / is way better

I find the "hear through" pretty effective on the original TW2. It does what I need it to do, which is really all I can ask for.

I wonder what impact the shells have on SQ. It's very clearly a different shape externally, but the inside may be the same. If this new model uses the same driver and likely the same/similar electronics, it could sound just as good as the Momentums.

turn it on while some louder noise in your surroundings like while you cook something in a pan with oil .. it’s gets horrible amplified. While with the air pods pro , it sounds like how you would hear it if you had no iems in . Another thing , try to turn on hear trough and turn on your tv , you can’t understand the Dialoge , with the air pods it’s natural again as if you had no iems in . So the technic itself to „hear trough“ is way better at the air pods , while the sennheiser offer the better sound quality . So if these new wireless iems offer the same sound as the mtw2, I’m on board for the use while hear trough is not needed .
