$200 Max give or take in audiodom. I've seen there are many threads on this but I'm not interested in the discussion if they are a)worth it b)snake-oil-oriented. The DIY site http://www.vhaudio.com/powercables.html looks interesting too. At least you'd know what you're getting for your money. I'd really like to pickup a great used cord too.
I like Chris, but I don't think his cords are necessarily all that amazing. From the big brands there isn't much that's appealing below $200, Acoustic Zen El Nino, ESP MusicCord, that's about it.
Your best bet is probably something from Audiogon, like a PS Audio AC-3 or AC-5.
Why don't you ask Woo Audio what they recommend? Ask if their power supply adequately turns AC into DC, or if you need something else to supplement their power supply design. A good power supply should filter noise from the line and give clean power without needing anything else.
