So, the manual says I need a 6-12V regulated DC, at least 50 mA. So, I went into a store, and saw that they had one with .7A (70 mA). However, the guy at the store said that it might work, but my amp might blow up. Does he have any idea what he's talking about? The 2Move manual says at least 50 mA, after all.

.7A means 700mA, and I don't think the guy really know what he is talking about... Your amp will not blow up by plugging in a higher current adaptor. But make sure you get a "regulated DC" adaptor, and make sure the voltage is equal or below 12V...

Do measure the voltage before plug in, something even a regulated adapter output higher than indicated voltage.

yes; definitely regulated or it might catch fire; seriously; using a switching PSU on a device that specifies regulated can be very dangerous,. that guy is obviously a dufus. the main thing though, is to make sure that the adapter centre/ring setup is the same IE. center positive or ring positive

As stated before, regulated power supplies are always putting out their rated voltage, so be sure it's correct.

An unregulated powersupply of 9 volts can read as putting out 13 or more with no load. Definitely bad news for the 2move.
