Playing around with The First Descendant. Liking it well enough, but the graphics in particular are exceptional. Character models are particularly excellent looking.

we need a 4k60+fps remaster. Fromsoft art is outstanding!

I need 60fps! It's a work of art. It's one of those games, you can play over and over again to appreciate the design. Every little detail in this game was thought out, you can tell. "Mom, can we have a 3D Castlevania?" "We have Bloodborne at home" lol

I think I saw an Unreal Engine splash screen, so I'm going to assume this is UE5, as it seems to have basically all the next-gen features you'd expect: RT, DLSS, Frame Gen, etc. Considering all that, and how good it looks, it seems to be very well optimized. Admittedly, I'm on a 4090, but even without frame gen I'm getting like 80FPS+ with all the settings cranked, and there's really no stutters or hitches to speak of.

Figured out you can disable UI, so here's some better looking screens.

I think this might actually be the best looking game on the market right now. The only real drawback is each play area is relatively small, so it's easy to pack in a bunch of detail.

Here are game finish screenshots for Spark, an idle God game of sorts for Android.
It took over a year to beat it with it going 24/7 in the background. Fun if you like that kind of thing.

All the options in the Altar of Knowledge have been acquired and that beats it. You could still run on indefinitely.

I am once again playing Cyberpunk. Maxed out settings, full path tracing, etc.

Just a heads-up if anyone is using an AMD or pre-4000 series RTX GPU: Just yesterday they added FSR frame generation.
