If you haven't played Diablo 4 yet. I can't recommend a game more akin to crack than Diablo 4 at the moment. This is a pic of my necromancer character with my Giant Gnome. The game is pure addiction. Very deep action RPG and the best Diablo ever made imo.

Path tracing for Cyberpunk just dropped, and looks to be a pretty huge upgrade over the basic ray tracing. On an RTX 3080ti it's just barely playable with balanced DLSS, but its steep requirements are pretty justified; it's miles beyond any other implementation of ray tracing.

This ray tracing, in fact, is so demanding that without enough v-ram ray tracing doesn't appear in photo mode.

I'd say the biggest and most realistic change that ReStir (or Nvidia's not actual realtime 'path-tracing') is skin tones. Apart from the questionable LODs popping in and out, everything else looked almost perfect in normal RTX but characters still had that glowing plastic skin. Now scenes look like they're from a movie, hopefully they can improve the denoising alg more for the game.

Looking pretty sweet! I've been considering revisiting Cyberpunk, as I really had to slog through it during the initial release. Been stuck on my deck recently though!

Deck is still a portable powerhouse :D. Though if you can wait I'd see what the reviews for Phantom Libery DLC are. The expansion is said to come out with many base game overhauls (including complete perk rewrite, combat tweaks like finishers). Only thing to look out for is the lowered performance due to next-gen only compatibility (though I'd take another Crysis like game over something that clearly can no longer fit its ambition in last gen tech).

Something a little different: Life is Strange: True Colors.

It's a pretty good looking game, IMO. The character animations in particular are excellent.

Cyberpunk with path tracing.

The path tracing really goes a long way toward making the materials look more realistic and grounded in the world.

How is the gameplay though? Wondering if I'd like it. I mainly play action games, but I do like good stories/characters. Last of Us was mix of both, but I really liked the characters/story. Cyberpunk is .. well .. just Cyberpunk. lol

Gameplay is basically like the Telltale games. Zero action or anything like that, mostly just exploring and conversations, with some light puzzle solving.

More path-traced Cyberpunk. It basically just looks like CGI. :sunglasses:

I absolutely adore the way the game looks with maxed out film grain. I'm just a little annoyed I can't have my 21:9 aspect ratio in photo mode.
