you know what I mean. Stuff that puts you into a trance. Progressive, Minimal, Melodic, Old School, Breaks, Acid, whatever. Fast or slow doesn't matter. It's electronic and it's mental.

My Top 10:

1. Shpongle / Hallucinogen (same guys as Shpongle)
- World/Ethno Psy Chill / Epic Psy
2. Juno Reactor
- Psychedelic Ambient, Psychedelic World Electro
3. Crop Circles / Etnica / Pleiadians
- Goa Trance, Psy Trance, Psy Techno, Techtrance
4. Astral Projection
- especially their old epic stuff, their newer work is ok, too
5. Infected Mushroom
- all their work
6. Electric Universe
- melodic, psychedelic, trance, pure old school
7. Green Nuns of the Revolution
- acid psy trance, old school goa trance
8. Psysex / Children of the Doc
- anything by them
9. Dark Soho
- anything again
10. Hux Flux / Logic Bomb
- Psy Techno, insane stuff

The Zombies Odessy and Oracle is great, especially "Hung Up On A Dream"

I'm also a big fan of Jefferson Airplane's "White Rabbit"

I'll echo #1,2, 4, and 5...outside of that, there's always Inade's Aldebaran, and everything by Amon Tobin.

You all have to go out and buy Tranquility Bass' "Let the Freak Flag Fly". A great album with psychedelic electronic music and some old folk songs on it as well.

Oneida Each One Teach One

maybe not pure psych, but more like neo-psych-art-noise-postpunk-crazyness.

14 minute songs playing the same note over and over and over and yet ludicrously catchy. like a drill to the head coated in sugar and THC. the new album "secret wars" is supposed to be even better.

Pretty much most Psy-Trance that I access through philosomatika

In addition, the psy-trance/psy-ambient stuff I own: Hallucinogen, Astrix, The Mystery of the Yeti double-CD, a Raja Ram/Simon Posford collaboration. Very trippy trance/ambient music. Shpongle is great, too.

And, true to my nick, the entire Ozric Tentacles catalog

I highly recommend their music for headphone listening. It's a unique combination of traditional guitar/bass/drums with electronica elements; "space-rock" or, maybe more accurately, "spliff-rock"
