gonna make good use of it tomorrow.

The Sigma 150 rocks. I got one a couple months ago, and it hardly leaves my camera.

A few from the first time out with the Sigma 150:

I've always loved macro photography. I can spend hours in my backyard, shooting flowers and bugs. I've even been planting more flowers so I have things to take pictures of!

The Sigma 150mm is a great lens. Sigma makes some really great glass, I've owned the 100-300/4, 150/2.8, the 10-20, and both the 500DG Super and EM-140DG flash units...I've always been a Sigma fan and always will be. Right now I don't have any Sigma stuff but the 30/1.4 I just ordered should be coming in the mail today

Bringing back some old school - I took this picture a while ago with the Sigma 100-300/4 (this is before I started shooting macro). The pic probably looks a bit soft since I didn't know how to properly sharpen back then, but whatever, I think it's pretty good for 300mm

Ok, ONE flower....:

This picture is actually a little soft, dof a little too shallow (i cannot gauge this lens' dof yet and there's no dof preview button on my cam), and the wind was blowing quite strong.

I dunno wth is this, looks like pea...

Here's another set of sample form my second round out there, again, all handheld burst shots (about 3/5 usable), lens set to 1:1 and focus by manually moving lens back and forth, most without flash.

Controlling dof is extremely tricky without dof preview button, gotta learn to gauge the dof properly hmmm

we have had some absolutely amazing photography these last few pages.

I was gonna quote one photo and express how much I loved it, but then I kept scrolling and wow, too many too reply to.

So excellent job everyone!
