Yeah...with Windows and without any special programs, I can't retrieve the info. I just get the properties of where the picture is hosted.

You have to save the file first, right click -> properties -> Summary tab, and click Advanced. Easier, as mentioned, is the fxif addon for firefox (on any OS).

Thanks!
Though to be honest, this image isn't so much about photography as it is about post processing. The original images were quite bland. Which I don't mind -- I like doing the post processing work as much as taking the shots itself. I really do need/want a better wide angle zoom lens though...

That's the best photo I've seen in a very, very long time. How big are you hoping to get it printed?

Thanks a lot! Very flattering to hear these comments.

I'm hoping to get it printed on canvas at 1.5m x .5m.

Beautiful shot digitalmind! I love the warmth and the composition of the first shot. Do you have a link to the full size image?

Thanks. Though again, this image is as much post processing work as photography.

Here are larger wallpaper versions:

1600 x 1200
1280 x 1024

Here's another from my trip:

Larger here.

Taken in 10 photos. Sorry for the flaky compression, had to be done since this machine isn't powerful enough to work with the full size images. I'll rebuild the panorama on a more powerful machine as I really want to get it printed, needing a full size version. On some small parts the stitching might be visible.

Nice pics Rik! Shoiting about your not enough powerful machine. That can be a pain in the *** indeed! But it looks good for sure! You make me wanna go to France now even more haha!

Thanks Indra! Editing the full size images can be done, it just takes a damn long time. France is very nice, but Switzerland kicks Frenchies' butt.

Rik, I feel your pain. My poor little Mac Mini has seems to have reached its effective useful limits. Even just the RAW conversion process is slow as molasses, so I'm forced to work with (much) smaller jpegs. Too bad I can't really afford an upgrade right now.

My girlfriend won a short trip to a fancy resort island off the cost of BC a little while ago (http://www.sonoraresort.com/). The one evening a bunch of fog rolled in. Made for some really nice photos. She took these between 10 and 11 at night on a tripod with 10-30 second exposure times.
