One i'm actually pleased with... For a change![/i]

I like the composition, but her skin and jeans are blown out in a couple of areas. I know you were probably going for an urban, contrasty look, but I think you slightly overdid it on the processing. It's still a good photo, though, with a rather cute model to boot.

Yeah, I need to have a fiddle with it again... I shot one in colour, but with the old stone, it didn't look anything special... Then I shot a b+w one, and it looked much better, but I edited it in a hurry and over-blew the highs really, but it does look rather urban

EDIT: Hmmm, shetttt! Was in such a hurry I saved over the original after I took it

- tried reducing the exposure abit in ACDSee... improved the tones of the skin a bit, but the middle of the arm and knees are still over exposed... Maybe I shot it in diret sunlight?

EDIT 2: Yeah, must have done... One of the rubbishy colour ones is overexposed in the same places. Could have sorted the original black and white one, but I overwrote it last week on holiday after I shot it... grrr!

Don't feel bad. Just live and learn.

True, true - I just shot a whole roll of 35mm on a camera with a hole in the shutter. Fix the shutter and move on - count that roll as a learning reminder to more closely inspect new cameras before shooting.

Nice! What is the white glop in question? Looks a bit like marshmallow.

It's actually the melted inside of the fridge!
It wasn't melted by heat, it was melted by a very powerful chemical solvent.
