I really like those two myself (#2 and 3).
#2 is quite noisy because of ISO 1600, and I will redo with lower ISO and a tripod.
#3 was my first night shot, so the white balance was quite wrong. After some post-processing I think this is close to the reality.

that came out really cool. a tip for night time shooting that I figured out shooting the lightning last night: auto white balance gives me the best results.

Here's a crop at 100% to show off a bit more detail in the branching:

If anyone's interested this was shot with Sigma 10-20 at 20mm, ISO 100, f/8 and an 8 second exposure with auto white balance. I used a tripod, cable release set to shoot continuously and aimed at the most active spot.

Later on I was inside not paying attention when the wind shifted and the rain ended up soaking D80.

Nice play with symmetry there, Agnostic. Did you feel tempted to move the bike just a little bit to the right?

Another fly from me.

I'm not a great fan of macros but that's a nice fly shot

Actually I took this while I was already late for work and running from one train to the next. My normal direct train wasn't running because of an accident and I had to rake the long scenic route.
I noticed this shot so I stopped running took out my camera, shot and ran on to my train. No opportunity to even consider moving bicycles.

Any idea what a print like that would go for in a California gallery?

$250 for a 30x45cm Giclée is a fair price. If the image was printed on Ilfochrome or C-print the price could easily be quadrupled. The same applies to your monochromes, the asking price for a silver print can be 4-6 times greater than a Giclée.

The color in your pics is always quite nice, I really like the contrast with the blue sky, did you use a circular polarizer?
