Care to share some of your processing techniques? I like that your photos have a rather film-like dynamic range, without appearing outwardly HDR-esque or computer generated.

Stuge, no need for borders.
You should also probably fix the double post.

Actually I don't have much experience with HDR. I just started messing with Photomatix Pro. Still figuring out how to best process HDRs, how to best avoid overly pronounced halos for instance (any advice on that Ka-boom?). While the kind of mysterious look you get from overprocessed HDR can create a nice effect I think it's starting to become a bit generic, everyone is doing them and they all have a very similar look.

I post process the HDRs in CS4 with several layers. Usually a selective color layer, contrast, hue/saturation. Sometimes a copy of the original image in vivid/linear light or color overlay at around 50% opacity with a b&w layer sandwiched in between.

My new compact point and shoot, a Zeiss Ikon Nettar 515 (1937-41) with a 35mm film canister for size comparison.

The amazing thing is that this thing takes 120 size medium format rollfilm to produce 6x4.5 negatives! Must be one of the smallest medium format cameras ever built.:

And a shot from yesterday at the coast:
