Me and two friends actually planned to ride down to southern Europe (Italy to be specific) this last summer. But sadly the two others bailed out, and hence I did not want to do such a long trip on my own.

I will see what I can come up with this year.

Oh yeah. It was amazing. This was apparently a known place to ride, I saw alot of riders over the few days we were here, many Germans. Just sitting at the cafe ..... 3,4,5,or 6 riders would come by. Sometimes they'd stop, have a cafe. The roads are bike-ready.

I shot a couple of videos, I will post a link when uploaded. And yes dj, the coffee was very good.

Snapped this a few minutes ago from my balcony. Probably should have done an HDR shot, but wasn't thinking about it

Nice pictures as always.

This is strange. It looks like a cross between a puppy and a kitten.
The nose and mouth is totally a dog, but the ears are 100% a cat. How strange!

Thanks. Now that you mention it, my mind can finally be at rest. I swear there was something eerie about them.

They are famous for the street food. Over here in Singapore there are numerous snack chains that claim to have authentic taiwanese street food too heh..

And thanks for the dedication

I especially like the last two. The grin on the face of the "woman preparing glutinous rice" is gorgeous. Well captured.

Haha. It was an accidental "discovery". I came out of an air conditioned area into the hot, damp Hong Kong outdoors -> filter/lens became totally covered with condensation.

Milk, if you love things like that, you'd love this:

Taken summer 2008 at the Dinan (i think) air show... Got some good and bad pics from it. Still haven't sorted them.

That's pretty sharp for a P&S. I would tinker with the green saturation/luminance and contrast to make the photo pop. There's also a bit too much of "nothing" in top half of the 2nd picture. If you ever have the opportunity, I would focus more on the green algae/floating plants plants. I do love the hazy vegetation in the horizon though!

A very nice shot as it is. Do I spy a little orange in the picture which you can bring out? If you are OK with HDR, I'm sure you'll fine with boosting colours too

First two, especially the first one, are fab. What an incredible moment you've captured.

I did mess with some of the colors already in another shot from that set. This was a quick and dirty job, so not quite perfect yet. Did emphasize yellow and orange a bit, but not too much.
