Nice ones devwild especially #2 but they also look realy cool as a series like this.

GTracer I like the first one of the overexposed series.

Thanks Raptor, definitely the best one now

I had my cam on a tripod, and high ISO and shutter speed, and tapped my remote on the wood floor, he looked at it and i got that.

The other one, Tiggi, when i did it trying to take a pic of him, he tried to eat the remote

Don't know why his ear is like that, always has been IIRC

Those are very nice indeed! They just jump out at you! Well done.

A minor note, your pictures are massive and they look very nice on my screen. It's very nice looking at these pictures in large res, but in the interest of those who have slow internet connections/small screens, could you please resize to 800px along the longest side and then link to the full sized ones? Thanks!

Went to the Bronx Zoo this past Wednesday with a friend and snapped a few pics.

Another trio... this tree is so heavily photographed that it seemed boring to post these individually to flickr, and it felt like a natural progression.

Iron_Dreamer, very nice HDRs. Not overdone like many others I've seen. I notice you like to sharpen rather aggressively!

You know, it's funny, I've heard both sides of it, i.e. that my photos are oversharpened, and undersharpened, at times. I guess it is something that I struggle with. I'd like to think I have a good system, but I always get comments that make me wonder, both ways. Perhaps that means that I'm doing about right?

Anyway, I was very glad to find that Photomatix is capable of making more "conservative" HDR's. My only real interest in HDR is capturing scenes whose dynamic range exceeds what the camera can tolerate in a single shot. Those "ovedone" HDR's just make me want to puke, a lot of them look a lot more like watercolors or cartoons than photographs!

Beautiful image and nice composition! I feel it could do with a little bit of sharpening to make the needles on the tree look a bit more crisp though.

Devwild - Wow, that tree is so gorgeous. I'd love a 1680x1050 wallpaper of that.
