This is Nicky, our newest adopted kitty. Nicky was an orphan that we adopted from a lady who specializes in orphan and feral kittens. He is a very affectionate cat, both with us and our other three cats. He's grown up with over 30 other cats before we adopted him, so he's used to having plenty of kitty buddies.

Sadly the background isnt blured out enough so it makes the picture very confusing. I tried using the lens blur filter on the background but since my photoshop skills are terrible the end result was pretty bad.

What do you guys think?

Yes i feel that the leaf does lack isolation and blends too much with the surrounding vegetation. Next time try to use a longer focal length, wider aperture and get closer to minimise the DOF
