See, we're all guilty of taking flower shots lol.. can't help yourself. It was the first time i've managed to get out for ages! last 4 or 5 times i've tried to go out there's been a sudden downpour; not today though!

Never really took that many shots though, 45 all in, one of which was an HDR of 3 images.. slight misalignment as i didn't have a tripod (handheld).

It appears that you lightened the trees a lot in software (it's noticeable). The picture is nicely framed and it doesn't even need a border!

Trees in that light are difficult, especially in shade. With digital i always expose to make the sure the highlights (skies mostly) aren't blown out which leaves a lot of the shadows quite dark.. bring them up in RAW adjustments.. it's either that or HDR, a ND grad wouldn't have worked.. really only the first one that needed any considerable adjustment.

I just add a border to them all now, i think it makes them easier to see as a whole rather than them bleeding into the background.

I know what you're saying though, i don't like making too many adjustments myself in PP.. that's the beauty of RAW though, some can be saved.
