I doubt it...it doesn't meter anymore, so any sort of auto exposure doesn't work anymore. Autofocus still works, but I have to do all my shooting in manual mode, which is ok but still a problem if something quick arises and I only have a small window of time to capture it.

I haven't posted for a while so here's a couple pics

Veterans cemetery during Memorial Day.

Some of the desert out here.

Some nice shots, but don't ruin them with over-saturation. The colors are a little too intense for them to look real or appealing.

The colors also hurt my eyes.

That sucks. Well if you want to get rid of it, I might know somebody that would take it off your hands for a couple bucks

Haha, I think I'm going to keep it as a manual-shooter, besides the metering problem it still works fine.

Anyway here are some photos from our 3D design final this semester, the prompt was to build a piece of furniture that supports your weight (most of us ended up building chairs).

Thanks Matt - Camera is a Canon 5d with 300mm F4L Lens (or 85mm F1.2L II). The focusing is actually not off - Its called bokeh.

Wow the last photo is easily the best!

Fantastic photo!

What camera were you using?

I found the first pictures to be focussed funny, but the last, wow, perfect!

Some people would actually consider the focusing on the first to be strange, and not just the fact that there is bokeh. For me, too much blurry stuff in the front just distracts and makes the picture look unnatural. If you like it though, that's all that matters.

Yeah you're probably right about the focusing ... Here are a few more

devwild, how are you doing that PP?

Assuming you are referring to my last image... using photoshop cs3 and it's built in hdr tool. My other recent images were largely processed with the adobe raw, which I've just started to use and am still getting used to (and taxes my poor old laptop), with cleanup/rotation/cropping in photoshop. I'm even using adobe raw for jpegs where needed now because I prefer some of its controls, though all my shots from this past week were shot in raw (first time I've used raw exclusively on both cameras, it is definitely a significant improvement on the G9 in particular, but the XT as well).
