The last days of summer in the Sierra before the snow came this morning.

Here are a few pictures I snapped at camp. Though my camera abilities may not have been able to capture the true essence of the sites below, I can assure you that, in real life, sunsets in the Adirondacks make for some of the most breathtaking imagery you'll see in a very long time.

Got a new lens a few days ago. Vivitar f/3.5 100mm AF. Extremely cheap for a decent macro lens. Got it for $90 shipped, never used. I did a few test shots on a tomato from my mom's garden.

Nice set of captures, beerguy. Not sure if the OOF branches in front do it for me, but cool shots anyway. The 70-200/4L + 1.4x = magic.

I've been doing a lot less nature photography (which tends to be my focus) and have been doing a lot more of the weird art school thing. Here are a few more...
