Housing cooperative recently got 1000/1000 for all its condos. The ISP paid for routers and installation, and we're paying 28 USD/month (no other fees). Normal suburb, Stockholm, Sweden.

you can't be serious..how does it feel on that? the super Mb/s wouldn't really change too much but the 4 ms ping does a lot.

how do your video uploads feel?

how does it feel to be able to upload or seed files faster than online services designed to do them?

I'm in Jakarta too, but unfortunately not on area covered by fastnet, so I'm stuck with Speedy. 3G and EVDO both are no go, my area is blank area, EDGE is the best speed I got (which like, 100-150 kbps).
I really envy those fastnet users, my friend who used it always taunting me for the speed, god bless him.

In what Indonesian city are you residing in? In my hometown, Jakarta, I'm using a 3 Mbps connection for $30. My ISP is Firstmedia (Fastnet) by the way... I had no luck using that government owned ISP, I had a fight with one of the customer service then I switched ISP.

^I was still wondering what you mean by the avatar?

Nothing. Just a random pic I found while surfing the net.

Too bad bro.. They have very limited coverage, and in some dense area, they can be very slow. Nowadays they aren't as great as they used to be. I remembered that I can get constant 8-20ms ping with Speedtest and they're incredibly good for online gaming. Hell, even I can play CS:S to Hong Kong located server with only 80ms ping!.

It's pretty quick. =) I'm not gonna say that it's like browsing .html stored on the computer, cause it's not. But it's not that far off either.
Haven't uploaded any video yet, but I'm guessing that people with nice 100mbit lines get better speeds than I would. So many bottlenecks...
What I'm enjoying the most so far is the 40 MB/s torrent downloads. Downloading a 10 GB BluRay movie takes 4 minutes. It's quite ridiculous really, way more speed than I really need.

Holy Jesus... 40 MB/s download speed... I went bonkers when I got 1 MB/s download speed after I moved to Singapore. Now that's 40 times faster...

that 1 was just amazin! Oh its so fast and whatever! Haha. I currently have 2.5MB/s effective and 2.8MB/s max. Im going of the mega 1000 system and not the true binary 1024 mebi system

Back home, I would be glad if I'm downloading faster than 250 KB/s. Usually this kind of speed only can be achieved by direct download. Coming from kilobytes to megabytes is a quite step up :p

? I would expect faster?

Do you ever get clogged up at yours form too many people trying to use it at once? Sometimes that happens

I've never really noticed much in the way of the network slowing from time to time. It's by far the fastest internet that I've ever had...
