lol..i do have a red car..but its branded a Mitsubishi ....i think i would still get an NSX if I were looking to buy a super car.

The LCD is pretty good..better than normal TN panels..this one is a P-MVA panel.

I AVOID tn panels. they really blow (so to speak)

I have a few sips and mva style ones at home. they are hens teeth to find, though, these days ;(

Those are both great movies, in my opinion.

3:10 to Yuma is one of only three westerns that I like; the other two are Unforgiven and The Proposition. If you consider There Will be Blood a western, throw that on there too, but I consider it a period-set character drama.

I'm probably gunna get an upconverting DVD player for Channukah/XMas/Birthday. Is there a difference between getting a 1080i and 1080p one? The 1080p is less, but I need to know before making a purchase.

my AMB DAC project parts (and boards) arrived!

the gamma1 DAC:

HeadWize: DIY Workshop > γ1: Full-featured modular miniature DAC

this is a set of 3 boards and misc parts that AMB carries. also is a epsilon12 that I bought as a last-minute treat to myself

I picked up the parts in person; AMB is just 1 town over from me.

now waiting on the balance of the parts ($150 worth) from digikey. then I have a WEE bit of soldering to do...

I'm lovin' it.
