Congratulations!
I have a 15" MacBook Pro in order as well (waited 7 weeks so far). 2.4GHz, 2GB RAM, 160GB 7200rpm HDD.

By the way, you picture a 17" MacBook Pro.

Nice! I'm really enjoying mine right now as I just made the switch from Windows. Took a few minutes to get accustomed to everything, but really enjoy the OSX so far. The wait on online orders seems to be really long as the new LCD screens are currently under shortages. It took me two days of constant phone calls and 5 different Apple stores before I got mine. Some stores dont get shipments of Macbooks till August 1st!

Keep us updated on your order

You lucky americans who have 140+ Apple Stores. Cause we are not blessed with a single one in Norway (a few in the UK though).

My 3 1/2 years old PowerBook G4 is ready for retirement, and hopefully this one will be a suitable replacer. I'll keep you guys posted.

Recent things on my mind

Preordered but haven't yet received
onkyo_tx_sr875_black_front.jpg

Onkyo 875 with Silicon Optix Reon HQV video processor and full HD audio format decoding. HDMI 1.3 support

Bought one of these for running/biking

Garmin Forerunner 305
Very cool to use, you can chart your entire training session and see your heart rate, speed, distance, elevation, position on street map

Also bought one of these so I can have a bicycle with me no matter where I drive.

Dahon Mu SL. 19 lbs. Lightest folding street bicycle approx $1000 USD

Phew, that blows my budget for a while
