It's a real versatile device. Works only with Mac.
You can record instruments like guitars and vocals with it for example.
You can use it as a headphone amp as it has an amplified headphone-lineout.
You can make it a balanced source, with special adapters, which are not included btw.
It has balanced inputs.
And how I you use it is as a DAC. Via firewire my computer is connected to it and via rca to rca I connect it to my home-amp. This is one sweet deal as it's relatively very cheap and the sound is amazing.

So its a superior version of the U Control, but for the Mac?

Except the U control isnt beautiful, but doesnt need adaptors.

Neither does the Duet unless you want to make it a balanced source.

Sounds good.

I used to like WWII games, now i like modern war, however not futuristic war, so i guess i would enjoy that book.

I bought a cold cheese and onion pasty (£1.20, rip off!) in the school canteen, and while i was in there grabbed a mate a cookie with the money he gave me to grab him something and bring it back to him.

I've got the exact same jacket. ArcTeyrx makes killer stuff. I used it this winter in Montana and it performed superbly. Just wish I'd gotten it for that price.
