340 pages ago the posting of mundane purchases such as snacks or toiletries was mildly amusing. Now it's just boring.

My latest purchase: A DD Large Ice Coffee

There was that worth opening this thread?

My last purchase that someone here might find interesting: the SACD "The Marvin Gaye Collection.

Or possibly: Upgraded to a VPI 10.5i tonearm

Or possibly: A gallon of VPI record cleaning fluid.

Apogee Duet came in today!!! OMG, I really love it! Paired with my home amp this is really a bliss to listen to... On top of that a really slick and beautiful device:

That is a beautiful device. I was reading about it at The Apple Store. I don't really understand what it does...

It's a real versatile device. Works only with Mac.
You can record instruments like guitars and vocals with it for example.
You can use it as a headphone amp as it has an amplified headphone-lineout.
You can make it a balanced source, with special adapters, which are not included btw.
It has balanced inputs.
And how I you use it is as a DAC. Via firewire my computer is connected to it and via rca to rca I connect it to my home-amp. This is one sweet deal as it's relatively very cheap and the sound is amazing.
