Recently built a new desktop computer:

mobo: asrock z77 extreme4
cpu: i7 3770k
PSU: Corsair CX600V2
gpu: Gigabyte HD6850 OC 1GB
Heatsink: Cooler Master Hyper 212+
Ram: Corsair Vengeance 1600 8GB
Case: Cooler Master HAF912+200mm top fan
Disc Drives: 2 dvd/cd combo's
HDs: 120GB SSD and 1TB HD

Also bought the Asus Essence STX, hoping to get a convenient all-in-one upgrade.

As it stands the CX600V2's +12 volt 40A output isn't sufficient for it, given the requirements of the other components in my pc.

I was quite confused when it sounded as bad as it did. Not sure whether I'm going to rma it or upgrade my psu.

Edit: Got it working and its a keeper

So it's a 51...4.25"

Is that legal to carry where you are? It is here in Texas (I think). Been looking at one myself. How do you like it?

EDIT: Not it is not. Read one version of the law that didn't exclude. Found the latest (and detailed) one that excludes. Still want one.

Yeah I live in Oregon. Were pretty chill with guns and knives as most of Oregon is a hunting state. the 51 is legal here and I really like it so far, the grips are rough feeling and coming from my CCC's that are painted really slick spinning is a bit hard, oh also. Benchmade knives are sharp as all hell; out of the box I shaved with it.

Are you proficient in a balisong Whitecrow?

They scare the hell out of me, but then again I live in CA so its not like I can carry it anyways. I just have my Emerson SOCFK with me as a EDC. Hoping to get a roudhouse one day :)

Unfortunately we apparently can't carry anything fun (no assist blade of any kind. Gotta do it yourself here) so I'm looking at one of Benchmade's fixed blades. We can however carry up to 5.5", so 4.5" is what I'm looking at.

lolwut? that's an odd law. I also see no point in outlawing a bali-song when you can still use assisted knives's, I mean it takes like 2 seconds to open a bali; it takes a fraction to take out an assisted.

I agree, but I don't understand outlawing either one. Switchblades are a different story than assist or bali-songs though.

At least we can carry 5.5 inches. In a state known for our freedom attitude we're awfully restricted on knives.

Lookin' at this one from Benchmade. Not hugely keen on the black blades but that's a good looking knife.

Wasn't actually buying it there, just did a search for the right model number. Don't worry. :D

lol good, nothing hurts harder than finding out your $200 knife is a fake...and no refunds.

Might I suggest GPknives.com?
