Our new puppy.  His name is Sonny, he's a Standard Poodle.  Four more weeks before we can bring him home!  Big time significant purchase, basically a Senn HD800 on four legs.  LOL

Once you get to know and love your dog, they become priceless. A dog can be such a big part of your life if you let it.

Another new toy. Decided to go for the Macbook before the Mini server as I need something portable and for couch browsing.

Nice to finally feel 'freed' from my iMac. This will also give me something to 'screen share' with the mini once I get it.

Make sure to recable it, dogs really benefit from them silver cables.

I love Tommy! And yes, the album cover is the first thing I noticed, before the computer it was showing on, honestly.

I didn't realize how small that power supply was in the other picture you posted. I thought it was a bigger, more obnoxiously-oversized device from the other picture.

It's not giant, but it is a bit taller than the Calyx itself. I don't like the black box vs the sleek silver, but whatever works I guess.

Tommy is one of my favorite albums of all time. I own an original pressing of Tommy, and the Orchestral version on vinyl as well. Seriously just a brilliant album all around.

When it's next to aluminum laptops, DACs, and that beautiful amp, of course the black box is ugly. If you don't put it in such close proximity to them, it might not bug you as much...

I know I hid the ugly black box i put my build in on a low shelf at the back where I can't see it. It looked like crap next to clean aluminum faceplates and near my turntable. It really looks better down there where I cant see it :p

That's kind of what I'm planning on doing. Just putting it out of the field of view. It has a long cord thankfully so that shouldn't be a problem.
