My favourite place in the world Smitswinkel Bay right next to the Cape of Good Hope National Park. A protected area now no further development allowed a 25 minute hike to the bay no electricity except a small generator used sparingly. Winter storms are something else Cape of Good Hope was first named of the Cape of Storms by Bartholomeus Diaz and renamed by the Portuguese King as the answer to his maritime expansion of trade with the far east . Francis Drake said it best though the fairest cape of them all . Summer times are glorious Humpback and Southern Right whales visit. Baboons are always there and mostly not a nuisance.

Not mine unfortunately, I always put the ones I've taken in 'your photography'.
Took this one, my camera is not the same quality.
