I'm too poor for a dedicated CDP so E-MU 0404 it is.

Yes, that's one of my Mini-Me's. Not a bad looker, eh? I am using them with the ld2 as preamp/t-amp combo. The ability of this setup to sound clear at low volumes is amazing. It makes a great alternative to the main rig for late-night or early-morning listening when I don't want to disturb the neighbors too much. Very crisp and lively sound.

Nice work buddy... Looks great. I love how you kept the tubes in the CDP.

HAHA I just noticed that during the last move-in from school, I put my stand in backwards... the edges are smooth on the otherside. Oops.

Here's the setup in my new place. I'm ordering a T-Amp and some cables this weekend for the Atoms. I'm hoping the Millet makes a nice preamp

I have been drooling for a long time. I just do not have a place to put them.

I'm going to spend all of Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday designing, planning, and re-wiring my load of electronics to go on my rack and everything else. Hopefully I can create a very clean setup and dump all these wires from the bare eye.

Cleaned up some of the mess that started to accumulate around my precious:

And since I don't (yet) have a direct drive amp for the Stax to use them at my desk, they're tethered to the amp here:

guess I need to sweep up under the rack)
