I actually did have a genuine life preserver (I assume that's what you mean) on my wall until fairly recently. My whole room had been done in a sea theme since I was a kid, but I got my mom to redo it for me last summer. When I was really little (until I was about 10) I had the following on my walls:
1) A faux lobster and faux crab
2) A genuine ships wheel (turned and everything, the whole deal)
3) A genuine harpoon
4) A genuine life preserver
5) A porthole mirror (the part that should have been a window
was a mirror, it even opened)
6) Ships nets covering the ceiling
7) A clock with a ship on it
8) An achor (small, admittedly)
I also had ship covers on my bed, and might have had a couple other odds and ends, but it was really decked out. After I was ten I removed the lobster and crab and the quilt, and after I redecorated I kept only the harpoon and the mirror. Yeah, I know, I was pretty lame.
