i just got one of these baby's and it seems that modding it with bigger caps is definatly possible

if anyone has pics of the circuit board without bass boost and line out they would be greatly appreciated

ill try to post pics of the board with the line out and bass boost as well

id like to compare the pics to see which caps are used for the line out circuitry

here is the player with the larger(220uf) caps replaced. They are the larger ones next to the headphone out at the bottom of the picture. This is the player without line out or bass boost. Overall, a nice sounding player, will give further impressions when I replace the rest of the caps, but what it lacks in upper range extension and life, it makes up for in detail, especially following the instrumental threads of the music.
