Hi, first off thanks to all the people on the forum. I've been lurking on here a few months, and I've really obtained some fantastic information on the site :)
Onto the post, I've recently purchased a pair of Audio Technica ATH-AD700, and I absolutely love 'em - although I can be a bit disappointed by the lack of bass at times since I do listen to a lot of dubstep, house, etc. I've read that I won't get much more of anything if I try to amp these phones. Is this true? If so I'll just save my money and pick up some Grado SR60i's that I've been wanting to try instead.

I'm clueless about amps, although I have a Fiio E6 with a L10 LOD cable which I use every now and again. My two choice's I've been looking at are:
http://goo.gl/dBnZg
or
http://goo.gl/Gm9ZP

the E7 would only run me 40 bucks since I have a gift card with Amazon. Which do you think would better suit my headphones? I'd be using it with my iPod classic only.

Fiio E6 is more then enough for the ATH-AD700.
Introduce your ATH-AD700s to their new step brother, the Grado SR60i.
