Dont know if a tread has ever beer started on this subject.

Have you been out and about with your portable rig, amp, ipod,and phones, and someone has come up to you, and ask to hear it. Another scinerio is your rocking out to the tunes and you see someone checking you out and you gesture to them check it out.

I love there comments, like OH S__T, OMG, etc. etc. Then they ask u a million questions. I ususally point them in the direction head fi.org.

I just get blown away by these rookies, being blown away with a good portable amp attached to an ipod.

The RS-1 draws plenty of attention. Everyone comes up to ask if they're wood, occasionally for a listen. Which is why I'll usually use the e3c - they look about the same as iBuds to the uninitiated.

I've never had questions asked about my grados. However, there is some common misconception that my clix2 is either a phone or has a touchscreen or both. When people learn that it is none of these, they lose interest.
