Ok so I Enjoy going to my local coffee spot. I would like to get a portable tube amp for under 200 that uses EL84 tubes (because i order a 12au7 for my bravo and got 2 JJ Electronics EL84...) Also a good portable Dac. I plan on getting a Nexus 7 at some point and would like to have a nice setup for at the coffee shop. Total im willing to spend id say 350-400 on a amp and dac.

EL84 tubes are too high-powered for anything portable -- that just isn't going to work.

Is there a particular reason you want to use tubes?

The only battery-powered tube amps I can think of off the top of my head are the ALO PanAm + Passport and the Analogue Squared Paper amps (which I've yet to try). The PanAm has a DAC built-in too, though whether it would work with an Android phone I don't know.

battery power is not a problem, i can plug it in. and i want a tube amp because i mostly listen to classical and opera and tubes make it nice and warm. and i want a amp that uses el84 tubes because i order a 12au7 and they sent me 2 el84's instead.
