I am happy user of Beyerdynamic DT770 Pros, but currently I am looking for something that is more portable. I like Beyers mainly because of two things -
 
1. Comfort (I use them for several hours a day in an office environment).
2. Good bass response.
 
I mostly listen to electronic music (anything from glitch, trip hop, electro, drum and bass, etc). My budget is around 100-150 GBP (150-250 USD).
 
I've tried following models before: Klipsch X10, Bower and Wilkins P3, ATH-ANC7b. X10 and P3s have really poor bass and ANC7b were not really that portable.
 
Could you please suggest something that may be right for my next purchase ? Thanks!

I used my DT770 as a portable. I installed a 3.5mm chassis on them and used a short cable.

yeah, I did this to mine as well (see www.head-fi.org/t/643648/beyer-dt770-pro-80-detachable-cable-mod ), but this does not really make them less heavy and they still look weird to walk on the street

I didn't care what they looked like, tbh I kinda liked it. Weight of headphones never really bothers me, I must have a strong neck or something Haha
