Hi there,
I've never really dabbled that much in portable audio but a new daily commute is forcing me to start looking.
I'll be using my iPAQ 210 with a 32GB CF card as a source to start with (probably not great audio quality, but good enough for train and bus).
So now I need so phones and don't know where to start. I have some ideas of what I need.
- Closed is pretty much a must (but no canalphones please)
- Nice strong bass responce
- Would love them to sound like my Darth Beyers
- I'm looking for a pretty fun sound so I can enjoy my rock/metal without listening critically. I just want foot-tapping/head-bobbing, fun sound.
- Need to be fairly comfortable for 2.5 hours at a time
- Nice and compact (actual size and foldability doesn't matter too much... just so long as they don't look huge on my head).
Any ideas on some phones I should be looking at? Would like to keep the price under US$150
Thanks
Paul
