Does such a thing exist? I want to improve the volume of my A & K KANN so that I can use it effectively with wireless buds. I have Bose QuietComfort buds which work fine with the KANN but the volume level is only just about 'adequate'. I've seen many portable amps with Bluetooth receivers but cannot find any with a transmitter as well. Many thanks

Bluetooth is digital. You can't amplify it. If you need a louder set of buds then buy a louder set of buds.
Thanks for the reply, that makes sense. I think the problem is with the KANN. By my standards it's a very expensive media player but it does seem to lack oomph when using Bluetooth. The Bose are just fine with my significantly cheaper Samsung phone, lots of volume. I think at some stage it will be an upgrade for the KANN.

Thank you, I’m new to these forums and had not found the KANN thread, I will take my questions there. Yes I have turned it up to max, and at that level it’s just about useable, but i would really like the option to increase if required.
