I am getting close to completing my portable rig (again), and am looking for a portable amp that will go well with my grado SR-225s (recabled). It would also be great if they will work well with either ETY or Shure IEMs which I hope to be getting some time soon. I will be running the amp out of the line out on my iRiver H320. Ummmm if there is any more information I should include dont be afraid to say so

I've been VERY happy with the synergy going on with the Headamp AE-1 and my Grado HF-1. Really nice. It's good with the Ety ER-4P too, just not as much.

Very true as a first amp or an office amp. Otherwise the AE-1 and the SM3V6 are more refined, and at 6 times the price they should be.

it is a diy amp, but most of the established builders will build you one.

i actually found the go-vibe as a nice amp with both grados and etys.

for something with a little more punch, i echo the hornet.

i've heard great things about the PINT and you might want to get someone to build you one (i have!)...
