looking for a portable amp/dac to go with my samsung s5 and shure 846.

budget is $600

hoping to find an amp/dac that is close in size to samsung s5 or smaller. i dont mind if it is a bit big.
would like to know some options.

i have been looking through all the threads but feel like i might get a better answer with this.

my friend uses an sony PHA-2 with it and is pretty happy. he also tried PHA-3 and said there is improvement, but probably not worth the extra. 
 
he is into hifi stuff for 30+ years and owns about $200k worth of mcintosh hifi/home theatre stuff, so i do believe his comment when he said "not worth the extra".

thanks zoop. i guess i will end up getting either a pha2 or fostex hp p1. saw someone else using the hp p1 with s5 and 846s. looking for something a bit smaller and more portable so i ordered a ibasso d-zero mkii a couple days ago. retails for $120 i think. had pretty good reviews.

so i thought i would try the cheaper amp/dac before i spend a bit more..... for now lol
