Not really sound-related, but my album art is looking pretty rough on that PONO screen. Any thoughts/tips/recommendations on resolution(s) for good looking album art on the PONO? Most of my stuff is 600x600 and looks quite good on my other devices.

Have you tried Googling covers and using those?

I enjoy well-recorded music on my Pono. But I make multi-genre playlists that also include some less-than-stellar recordings (especially early jazz and blues) that usually need some EQ "help" to sound musical to my ears. Is there a headphone amp with EQ that works well with the Pono?

hmm check out an ALO one I reckon. They have some cheaper ones out now with bass adjust. you would ideally run the PONO dual mini jack balanced to kobiconn or trrrs. take advantage of that feature

Has anyone else realized Pono has some hiss with some iems? It's just a soft low hiss, similar to ZX1's, but I haven't seen anyone mention it aside from myself. It is rather annoying for me.

 (kidding) It's probably just your iems that are playing nice with Pono. I know the hiss is not a freak occurrence as it happens with several of my iems, actually pretty much all of them.

The Pono Player has, I think, a 5 ohm impedence that won't have a low noise floor with really low-impedence IEM's.

^ Yeah but I can hear light hiss even with 32 ohm iems 

 Oh well, I suppose I'm more sensitive to hiss than others, it is only very light hiss after all, nothing outrageous, but still would prefer to not have it, like DX90 doesn't.

 Stereophile measured the output impedance as 3 ohms across the audioband.

I'm not sure if it's accurate as I can hear all tones but the 12 and 16.
