Is the sound going to be so much better if I spend more?
I was happy with my NI Audio Kontrol 1, to be honest the sound on this was so crystal clear, im not sure what it is made off. Unfortunately the cheap built made the headphone start making crackle noises.
Now im wondering if something like the Steinberg UR44 will be a worthy replacement or I will be disappointed?
What else is there? Are RME products that much better sound quality wise? I don't care about recording or anything, I just need good quality and some extra i/o for monitors and not much else. Everyone in other forums seems to pay most of the attention to AD but to not DA...
My headphones are the DT770 Manufaktur 600 ohm, I use them for music production with good results
