Well my 16GB iPhone came in. I have been playing with it for a few days, big thumbs up so far.... Anyway just started to dig out my portable amps tonight only to find out that my "Pocket Doc" that works with my 4th generation iPod does not work with my iPhone.

I hope this is normal? Is the iPhone pin connection different from the older iPods?

If so does anyone know of a pocket doc for the iPhone? Or even better a "high end" doc/cable combo? Price not a concern (with in reason..).

Headphones are Triple.fi 10vi (on order) but the amp has yet to be determined.

Yes pin 1 and 11 has to be connected for a dock to work with iPhone's (both versions).

Don't forget that pin 1 has to be tied to pin 2 and pin 11

I don't know about any other part of the wireing but according to Punnisher who makes docks the only difference between previous docks and ones that work with iPhones is that pin 1 and 11 needs to be connected.
