  Are you using FAT32 format.
You have to format your microSD into FAT32 when it's more than 128GB. Otherwise, it will malfunction or crash.

It's more complicated than that. My AK120 II chocked on a FAT32 formatted 200GB card, but the AK Jr had no problems with FAT32. Someone else tried the default exFAT format with the AK120 II and it worked. I tried exFAT with the Sony and it works fine.

Did you update your AK240's firmware?
It could be a firmware issue too.

it's actually not the firmware.  The first card I opened was a definite lemon.  The second card seems to be working OK

Any idea when the 512 GB microdias will be out and where one can by them?

Has anyone attempted using the 200GB micro with any of the Fiio DAP's? Curious if they would work on the X3ii...

Mostly in 99% of all cases yes, if 64 GB works, than 128 or will work too. But on few devices there have some small problems, but with firmware fixes they will work (I remember the case with the AP100 DAP on older firmware only 64GB cards worked, later with newer firmware 128 GB worked well too). But in general if 64 GB worked, 128 and more will work (file system like FAT32 always helps in the most cases, if exFAT is not supported).

I missed it when the 200gb was for sale @ Amazon for $150. But I still got a pretty good deal on Amazon warehouse deals. Just here to post that it was plug and play on my HTC Desire 816.
