So, how long does AK240 take to load 200GB of additional files in microSD??
It already takes quite long for its internal 256GB.

I see Amazon no longer has the cards available,they seem to have sold out....my cards filled up pretty quickly when transferring from my computer and when i installed it into the 240 it took about 10-15 minutes to scan it for the first time...so far so good just as it was with my 128...i wish these cards had been 256 instead of 200 but i am thankful for the increased capacity

Example I tried myself a Sansa Clip+ with Rockbox handles a 256 GB full size SD (formatted to FAT32) with micro SD adapter without any issue and the Clip+ is pretty pretty old school.

I was just worried about scanning time / loading time.
For instance, Calyx M sometimes takes 20-30 mins to load 256GB SD card.
old AK240 firmware used to take 20 mins or sometimes 40 mins to load 256GB.
Their firmware still sucks. He said 200GB microSD took 15 mins to load with the new firmware.

iBasso R10 used to take 30 minutes load 256GB SD card connected via microSD to SD adapter.
That's one of the reasons why I sold it only after few months. Companies should figure out ways to omit scanning time like Rockbox OS.

I will say the one thing that really annoys me is when you buy a 200GB card that is really only 183GB of space on the card...I do not understand what it is that takes up the other 17 GB since there is no operating system of any kind as there is with for instance the 240's internal storage....

That's normal. Manufacturer factories count storage in 10 per measure, however computer system counts storage in 12 per measure. That's why it shows up less than 200GB.
It happens to all external and internal hard drives too.
AK240 has 256GB of internal storage but its system probably reads it as 240GB. It's because of the same reason.

AK Jr works fine with 200GB Sandisk card (formatted FAT32). I don't scan, since I only listen to whole albums by folder.
