If you did make one, I could "donate" all of my Chi-Fi dongles and be happy with only two. I definitely prefer iFi tuning / sound

I also propose to ifi audio to build a killer dongle with 4.4m balanced out.

1) ess chip that only ifi can tame and implement perfectly like go link and xcan (I do not want to see any Cirrus Logic anymore......)
2) two best value for money opamps TI or whatever...
3) all the goodness reclocking that ifi is supreme
4) physical buttons for fine tuning the volume. In iPhone volume to be only changed by these buttons as xdsd etc.
5) name it special edition for 6xx as your zen dac ....
6) obliterate the competition

And do not forget to send me one for review...please...

I completely understand why you like it more than the go bar but can't understand how you find the dc03 pro more energetic. Your impression could be also based due to a specific firmware version. Nice review anyway.

Maybe it's just my perception, but for me DC03 Pro sounds a bit more boosting emotions and highlighting them. While GO link is more balanced and gives exact amount of emotions that is needed. And that's why I like it )))

Really impressed with this little thing, it's one of the top dongles I've used regardless of price. I'm impressed how good the staging is. I'd like a bt version of this because to me it sounds better than go blu to me, balanced was good on go blu but noisy, and I like the tonality and staging better.

Anyways having a problem with dsd on my Sony a306 which I'm using as a transport. It keeps breaking up really badly. I'm going to see if I can try to get the firmware upgraded and see if that helps. No breakup on my Samsung phone. Anyone else had a problem with dsd breaking up?

Anyways it sounds great with good depth but still really present mids and a great balance on tone between musical and neutral. I'd love a model with this chip setup with more, but it would be cool if it was still small as possible. I love the size. Did not expect this to sound this good.

...so I've run into a bit of a problem with using the Go Link on Windows (and to be clear, I blame Dell & Microsoft since I was off work for two weeks and my first half day back was spent running "critical updates" on my computer). When I hook the Go Link up to the PC now it runs at 100% volume regardless of the Windows volume setting. Thankfully I had the IEMatch in the signal path when I found this out but it was still a bit of a shock. I wiped the iFi drivers and reinstalled them, no dice.

Update: I wiped the drivers a second time and reconnected the Go Link without reinstalling them. It came up as a UAC1 device on Win10, but I can control the volume again!

This may have been discussed before, but has anyone tried the Sony NW-a306 and the iFi Audio GO Link together? So, the Sony NW-a306 would be used as a digital transport in this case. Is that right?

I have a go link and it does get warm but I would not consider it hot by any means. Do you have any way of measuring the Temp of it?

I find mine gets warmer with an Android device than it does with an iOS one.

It is certainly the warmest of my dongles (connected to iPhone), but never hot.

It makes sense as iphone has a current output limit whereas many android phones they do not.

I will try and find a way to measure the temperature, might invest in a USB C pass through dongle so I can monitor the current / voltage being drawn.
