Hi, everyone.

I am considering of buying a pair of XLR interconnect, but now I am getting confused.

My favorite music type is classic and OST, especially the sound of violins and pianos.

I would like to upgrade my original cable to a better one (less than $500 is acceptable, and less than $300 is better). The sound should be clear, no strong bass and the environment should be quiet.

My current gears are PC -> Ayre QB-9 -> SPL Phonitor 2730 -> Denon D7000.

Thank you for viewing!

if I was looking for I/C's I'd give these a try (actually I'm considering their speaker cables). they're a little over your set budget. I think they have a return policy; if you're not satisfied with the cost/upgrade send them back.

more options at Audigon

FWIW, I'd recommend Signal Cable's Silver Reference.

Van Den Hul The Orchid, second-hand on Audiogon for $250. No coloration. No BS. No paying their marketing budget when you buy the cable (they don't market).
