Hello, what's a good, cheap amp design that uses the AD8397 as its core op-amp?
Okay, now how about a different scenario? Suppose the AD8397 goes on a ready PCB with ceramic capacitors (all according to the spec/recommendations of the datasheet) (etc etc)
AK4201 max. current is 5V. It goes bonkers with anything more (tried 8.4).
5.5 V. AKD4201 overdrives into stutter off an 8.4V rechargeable battery. Realistic operating current for 600-ohm headphones is roughly 6-12V.
It needs the pad on the bottom soldered to a large area of copper on the PCB to act as a heatsink.
