I have tried searching the forums but only manage to find threads regarding conversion the other way. Could you please bump me in the right direction as to find a decent SPDIF to Analog converter on ebay or whatnot. I have seen things like Creative X-Fi, FIIO and the ELE-D02 but it is only supporting USB inputs. The device I am getting the signal from has SPDIF and analog mini jack outputs. So I need something to convert the digital SPDIF to route to my car stereo.

If you are referring to SPDIF optical MINI output, monoprice has a mini-toslink to regular output that will bring the SIZE of the link up if you need. 
 
If you are referring to a device that will convert SPDIF digital coax or optical out to analogue signal without USB power, that's different.

There are probably better devices out there, but this one is cheap and is the first result I found using the google machine.
