I've tried to order from Farnell Sweden "if you don't have a company - you can't order from us"

. It's the same with RSonline

. Now I've tried to order from Newark USA, and I must have a "carrier account", which i don't (why should I)

.

Please help me, where can I order the stuff I want (Analog/TI opamps, JFET's and CRD's etc), and get it shipped to Sweden?

Here in Sweden it's very costly. You just don't need a company name, but a registered company number. You can't fool them that easy.

try other Rs in europ, rs France has a minimum order of 150Euros (without VAT) for private individuals.

I saw on Rs UK that they seem to sell only to companies :"RS is a business-to-business supplier. The RS website is intended for use by business customers and not for consumers or private individuals. "

I have the chance to leave close to the RS france operation headquater and as a "private individual" they let me shop for a minimum order of 50 Euros. However I don't have access to the entire Rs catalog (format 25xxxxxxxx can be ordered online only)

http://www.rapidonline.com/

have an EU button so presumably they ship to Sweden.

Sucks not shipping stuff to private individuals though, how do they expect new company's to start up which lead to potential orders? it just doesn't seem like a viable long term strategy. I managed to get some opamps from RS in the uk by saying on the forms I am a student.. it's weird that the forms let you order as a student and the site says you must be a company. PS I am actually a student

Some American companies I have dealt with for you to try:

Mouser, Digikey, Circuit Specialists, Electronix Express, Jameco, Allied.

Maybe they would like to have your business.

I know nothing about shipping.

Thanks for support. Not all vendors have the products I'm after. I think I'll give Digi-Key a try. Mouser seems to be a good company but they don't have Analog's opamps.

that's strange. here in switzerland, you can found a company by grouping one or more people together with the intent to make profit - voilà, you have a company. also, farnell doesn't seem to have a restriction on companys only here - I don't even need to make up one

I buy standard parts from ELFA, they have a warehouse just a couple of km's from where I live. They don't sell any of the cool opamps.

Farnell and RS in Malaysia also accepts only company orders, but only online orders. Individual me can still go to their trade counters to place orders, which is fortunately quite near my place.
