I just scored a set but they need to be rebuilt. I am new to the vintage can craze and I love it but my question is.... Where can I find parts for these beauties?
SE-30 is not hard to find on eBay, though it may take some patience. You can always ask the sellers about the condition of specific parts before you buy. Occasionally you get a vintage headphone in what appears to be unused condition.
I'm sure I'm not telling you anything new. But I am sharing with you that my experience hunting for vintages has been pretty rewarding (and frustrating), and that if you're intent on restoring those Pioneers, eBay is a good way to go IMO.
Would you consider parts from other headphones, or otherwise parts that are not for the SE-30 specifically? This would expand your options for pads, cables, and even drivers.
