Ironically enough, the custom computer I was working about a year ago, the Dark Lord, was originally going to be called the Dark Knight till I found out Hollywood was soon to release a Batman movie called the Dark Knight.

I changed the name to the Dark Lord.

Here's the progress on it: DarkLordproject - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Seriously, though, I have zero concerns with carrying around a bag like that you pictured. But being that most men are insecure about their manhood and most women are insecure about a man's manhood, it isn't prosperous to carry such items.

I guess the whip that came with those shoes is in the fanny pack.

Very true, but it was a joke.

Anyway, it's actually a laptop case with a lot of pockets. It has a strap that can be used to wear this over the shoulder like a bag. When I go to places that have WiFi I take it, loaded with my laptop, with me and carry a lot of my canalphones and DAPs as well.

I considered using an electricians type tool belt for my rig but abandoned that as well. The main thing with any of these is convenience. The fanny pack is great for walking around but not so good for driving or sitting....for me, anyway. A single pouch that can hold my rig is too large to sit at my side and not interfere with movement.

The alternative that finally works out of the ideas I thought of was to get separate, low profile, pouches and wear them as I am. They may not look good but they stay out of my way and don't interfere with movement, sitting or driving. My elbow nor arm brushes or hits them. This is the best I have been able to come up with. It can be modified with different looking pouches and such but this is the best there will be for me.

Ah, the 4GB Clip and the FiiO E3. A match made in heaven. Kinda like a DAP version of Hart to Hart if you will.

Heheh...

The more interesting question would be how you like the SE530 with the Fiio. For my taste that combination hisses way too much and doesn't have enough treble (something the SE530 already has too little of, IMO).

Adjusting the custom EQ really helps lots with the treble on the SE530s (with or without the Fiio). The Shures are very response to EQ changes and really light up. I know that a lot of people will shun me for not having the EQ flat but whatever...

Other than that, you are absolutely correct. The hiss is unbearable and I really only use it with my Etys or MX90s.

Now with my D2, I usually only use the SE530s with either my Minibox or mostly with the 2Move, since the D2 alone also makes the Shures hiss too (not as bad though).
